The 2007 Inaugural Club Championship was held July 28th & 29th. This special opportunity to be the first club champion brought our fierce competition and gamesmanship. The participants can verify that the golf course provided all the necessary challenges to determine the overall champions. If you know someone that played, ask him/her about hole #4 and #13. After round one, the trophies were still up for grabs. Each and every flight was going to be decided from the final round scores. A social on Saturday evening, at The Downtown Grill provided an opportunity for everyone to gather and talk about the first round ups and downs. The second round started off with very little wind but ended after a few lightning delays and wild wind. At the end of the day, the champions were crowned and the course provided the challenge to separate the competition. Below is a summary of the champions.

Two days prior, winter hats were a bad decision as tee gifts for all the players. As we all know, the weather can change rapidly here in Oxford. Needless to say, the 34 players were glad to have something to put on their head. The weather that day was rainy, windy, and 40 degrees.  A special thanks goes out to all that participated. It was truely a great event. The results were as follows:
